WaveSpeed has no account system, advertising, analytics SDK, or tracking. Your saved ride history stays on your device.

Information WaveSpeed uses

Precise location. WaveSpeed uses your device location to calculate speed, distance, performance results, elevation, and nearby place information. If you start an active ride or performance test, location access may continue while the app is in the background.

Ride history. Completed ride information—such as timestamps, coordinates, speed, distance, and conditions—is stored locally on your device. WaveSpeed does not operate an account or cloud database that receives this history.

Service providers

WaveSpeed sends coordinates as needed to Apple Maps or Android location services for nearby lake and city information and to Open-Meteo services for current weather and elevation. Those services process requests under their own privacy terms. WaveSpeed does not retain these service requests or use this information for advertising or tracking.

Sharing and sale

WaveSpeed does not sell personal information, display third-party advertising, build advertising profiles, or share data with data brokers.

Your choices

You can change WaveSpeed’s location access at any time in your iPhone or Android device settings. Disabling precise location or background access may limit speed, place, weather, and ride-recording features. Deleting WaveSpeed removes its locally stored ride history from your device.

Children

WaveSpeed is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
